Parks & Recreation

Created in July of 1991, the Park and Recreation Board consists of a nine member community board appointed by the Supervisors for a five year term. It has the responsibility of maintaining and improving the Jim Weaver Nature Park, located in Lee Wood Village and providing a vision for a future park within Rye Township.

The Recreation Board also sponsors several annual programs and events for the Community.

The Board meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Township Building, except in December, when there is no meeting.
